Witchfire & sisterhood

09-04-2025

There's fire beneath my feet again.

And that quiet trembling in my chest — the kind that only stirs when something big is about to unfold.
When you're standing at the edge of everything you've worked towards… and the only way forward is through.

Soon, I'll be stepping onto the stage for the premiere of a rock musical, playing a witch.
A wild, raw, untamed woman — fierce and unapologetically alive.
And with every passing day, as rehearsals draw to a close and the lights begin to burn brighter, I feel the butterflies fluttering.
Delicate, determined wings beating softly in my belly.

It's familiar.

Like a heartbeat I once knew, coming back to remind me.

In 2023, I performed in another rock musical.
Different story, same stage — and another rebellious role.
And on the night of the premiere, my sister sat in the audience.

After the show, she looked at me with that kind of knowing only sisters share, and said:

"You were exactly who you needed to be up there."

And she was right.

There's something deeply true about playing characters who carry a storm inside them.
Something in me thrives in that liminal space — between rebellion and vulnerability, between fire and retreat.
Between giving my all under the spotlight… and then coming back to myself in the quiet, soft moments that follow.

She saw that.
She mirrored it.
And we captured it in this photo, taken just after the curtain fell.

I wanted to share it again now — as I prepare to step into yet another transformation.
Because this isn't just a role.
It's a ritual.
A way of embodying my inner wildness, my shadows, my light… and offering it all to the ones who are willing to witness.
